Impact crusher VS rock jaw crusher

The structure and working principle between rock jaw crusher and rock impact crusher are obviously different. The working model of the jaw crusher is extrusion, and the material is crushed in the crushing cavity composed of moving jaws and fixed jaws. The impact crusher adopts the principle of impact crushing, and the material is repeatedly crushed and broken between the rotor, hammer, and counterattack.

Fixed jaw crusher can process all kinds of soft stones, but impact crusher is suitable for crushing the stone materials with small toughness and medium hardness or bellow, such as the limestone. If the raw material is very hard, it will cause great damage to the consumable parts and shorten its service life.

Finished stone materials from the jaw crusher are not ideal and the content of the needle is high. While impact crusher has good grain size and less angular shape, and its grain shape is better than that of cone crusher. Therefore, the impact crusher is usually equipped after the jaw crusher for further shaping, and they are also a common match in the crushing line.
